Established in 1989, Tai Hing Group has followed through with its value structure of “People Oriented”, “Customer First”, “Quality Prioritized” and “Innovation for Development”, all the while striving to offer diversified catering choices that bring delightful dining experiences to customers.

Apart from its flagship “Tai Hing” brand, the Group continues to expand its brand portfolio, comprising self-developed brands and acquired and licensed brands, including “Men Wah Bing Teng”, “TeaWood”, “Trusty Congee King ”, “Phở Lệ”, “Tokyo Tsukiji”, “Fisher & Farmer”, “Rice Rule”, “Hot Pot Couple”, “King Fong Bing Teng”, “Asam Chicken Rice”, “Dào Chéng Taiwanese Restaurant”, “Winter Joy” and “White Little”. The Group is thus able to provide dishes from various regions, such as Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia and different parts of Mainland China. Effective Food Safety and Quality Management Gains Trust from Society

Tai Hing Group constantly improves the quality of its food by employing an advanced food safety management system and by observing relevant standards. A series of monitoring procedures have been adopted to ensure food safety and quality, spanning ingredients inspection to production processes. In addition, strict quality control of finished goods is in place, with the aim of offering dependable and quality catering experiences to the public.

The Group is committed to working with suppliers on improving environmental and social performance on both sides. In this regard, the Group has formulated the General Procurement Standards and Principles of the Group, which set out the criteria for selecting suppliers. Regular evaluation of suppliers’ product or service quality, food safety and risk management, and complaint handling are important parts of the Standards and Principles. As a consequence, immediate enhancement measures are taken to ensure full compliance, leading ultimately to the procurement of high-quality imported ingredients and food products.

Minimizing Environmental Impact from Operations

The Group values environmental protection, hence the reason why it formulated and has been implementing its Policy on Climate Change and Policy on Environment, which involve a commitment to using natural resources effectively, reducing emissions from its business operations, and significantly minimizing its impact on the environment.

While developing its businesses, the Group also takes into account the environment; duly formulating and executing relevant measures so as to reduce whatever environmental impact that may result. For instance, the Group buys numerous electrical appliances such as induction cookers and automatic woks, purchases vehicles that are emission standards compliant to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, and utilizes energy in an efficient manner. What is more, its Food Factory implements centralized procurement, and only purchases appropriate amounts of ingredients to avoid excessive inventory. Also, the central warehouse uses an automatic computerized replenishment system to manage food stocks.

As the reduction of plastic waste has become a public concern in recent years, the Group has participated in the “No Straw Campaign,” initiated by Ocean Park Conservation Foundation Hong Kong for two consecutive years, so as to encourage customers to be more environmentally conscious.

The Group’s volunteer team joined the International Coastal Cleanup in Hong Kong, promoting the awareness of keeping the coast clean through removing trash and debris from beaches and waterways.
Participating in the Tree Planting Day organized by the Conservancy Association, the Group’s volunteer team planted 2,000 saplings in Tai Lam country park to green the barren hills..
